On the night of Friday, 21st June, the stars of Netflix’s much-anticipated film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F graced the red carpet at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California. The star-studded event saw the presence of Hollywood legends such as Eddie Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Bronson Pinchot, Paul Reiser, director Mark Molloy, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Excitement filled the air as the cast and crew of Beverly Hills Cop were honored by the Beverly Hills City Council with a special proclamation, declaring June 20, 2024 as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F Day.
Reprising his role as the iconic Axel F, star Eddie Murphy said “If you’ve never seen the other Beverly Hills Cops, this movie works. It’s a good movie, solidly written, and everybody is amazing in it. It’s really funny, very well directed, and produced by the amazing Jerry Bruckheimer. I’m feeling great”
