The highly anticipated sequel, The Accountant 2, made its world premiere at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas, with Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal walking the red carpet. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the film continues the story of Christian Wolff, a mathematical genius with a dark past.
Affleck shared behind-the-scenes moments, joking about the challenges of learning line dancing for a key scene, comparing it to performing high-stakes stunts. The event also saw Matt Damon supporting his longtime friend, adding to the excitement of the premiere.
The Accountant 2 is set for a theatrical release on April 25, 2025.
